Fundrasing

Fund Raising

Since the days when St Paul found a much needed resource and means of support in the trade of tent-maker, the Institutions of the Church have been required to avail themselves of income from some quarter. Without, however, the practical generosity of the faithful community of the Church, its Mission would be in difficulties.

The Sunday Offertory Collection is the first and most substantial financial support the Diocese and Parishes have at their disposal. By taking advantage of current Charity Legislation it is possible to substantially increase the sum of offertory donations and it would be wrong if we were not attentive in doing so.

Nevertheless, as a community committed to the welfare of the poor, whenever and wherever we hear of distress and human deprivation there we direct our efforts.
